While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

By Al Mayadeen English

March 27, 2024

'Hizbullah says it strongly condemns the heinous crime and vows that this aggression shall not go unanswered.

The aftermath of the Israeli airstrike which targeted the Islamic Medical Association center in the town of Al-Hibbariya, southern Lebanon. (Social media)

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in southern Lebanon reported early Wednesday that seven paramedics had been killed so far in the Israeli airstrike that targeted the Islamic Medical Association center in the town of Al-Hibbariya confirming ongoing search and rescue operations.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hizbullah said it strongly condemns the heinous crime, vowing that this aggression shall not go unanswered.

Commenting on the latest Israeli aggression on Al-Hibbariya Lebanese MP 'Hassan Murad said it is "a new massacre added to the record of Israeli crimes."

The Emergency and Relief Corps of the Lebanese Succour Association described the aggression as "a heinous crime" by all standards and a violation of international laws, holding the Israeli occupation forces fully responsible.

It also demanded that the Lebanese authorities take the necessary measures to prosecute the criminals before international courts.

This comes as Israeli assaults on Lebanese villages persist. Earlier, an Israeli warplane bombarded a farm in the plains of the town of Iaat, west of the city of Baalbek in the Bekaa region, northeast Lebanon, resulting in the martyrdom of four people, according to Al Mayadeen's sources.

Israeli airstrikes also targeted the area between the towns of Bait Yahoun and Baraachit, as well as the outskirts of the towns of 'Houla, Kfar Shouba, and Kfar Kila.

Additionally, Israeli artillery shelling targeted Wadi al-Saluki, while Israeli warplanes targeted the surroundings of the Al-Hirmil district, in northeastern Lebanon, our correspondent reported.

'Hizbullah responds to Al-Hibbariya attack, hits 'Kiryat Shmona' command

By Al Mayadeen English

March 27, 2024

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon responds to the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation against paramedics in the town of Al-Hibbariya in southern Lebanon, with an attack on the "Kiryat Shmona" settlement.

A picture showing the damage caused by Hizbullah missiles that hit the occupied Palestinian town of Al-Mutalla, named by Israelis as 'Kiryat Shmona' in response to the Israeli occupation's Al-Hibbariya massacre, as seen on March 27, 2024. (Social media)

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah, announced, on Wednesday, morning its targeting of the occupied settlement of "Kiryat Shmona" and the Israeli Occupation Forces' command in the settlement, known as Brigade 769, located in northern occupied Palestine.

The Resistance emphasized that this operation, carried out using dozens of rockets, came in response to the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation in Al-Hibbariya, southern Lebanon, and in support for the resilient Palestinian people in Gaza and their Resistance.

The Israeli occupation acknowledged the significance of the operation and the losses it inflicted on its internal front, as Israeli media confirmed the killing of an Israeli settler as a direct result of a missile strike by Hezbollah on a factory in "Kiryat Shmona".

Israeli media also reported two injuries and indicated that firefighting crews have been dispatched to the site of the missile strikes after fires broke out.

'Israel' caught up on the northern front

"Israel is stuck on the Lebanese front," said the head of the local authority in "Kiryat Shmona", adding, "The sirens sounded 5 times while 30 rockets were launched from Lebanon, most which reached Kiryat Shmona scoring direct hits on homes, factories, and cars."

"We were attacked with dozens of rockets, and it's dangerous to be here even for a minute, so I asked the army to forcefully close down Kiryat Shmona," he noted, urging Israeli settlers there to seek shelter as "the event is not over yet, and there is fear of additional rocket launches."

In addition, a correspondent for Israeli news broadcaster Channel 12 in the North acknowledged that it was "a tough morning in Kiryat Shmona, with many rockets and a lot of damage to property," explaining that the rockets were launched from Lebanon in 7 different rounds towards "Kiryat Shmona".

This comes after the Israeli occupation regime forces targeted the Lebanese Succour Association quarters in Al-Hibbariya killing 7 paramedics and destroying the building in a deliberate escalation.

'Hamas demands urgent action to hold Israel accountable for ethnic cleansing

Tuesday 26-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement said that the statements of the United Nations Rapporteur for Human Rights in the Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese, that there is sufficient evidence that the criminal Israeli occupation army has committed acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people is an additional acknowledgment from a senior UN official.

'Hamas added, in a statement on Tuesday, that this puts the international community and the United Nations before a real test to protect humanity and stand up to their responsibilities to prevent acts of genocide that humanity has surpassed decades ago.

'Hamas called on the International Criminal Court “to move beyond silence and take urgent action to hold the Israeli occupation leaders accountable for the genocide and ethnic cleansing they are committing against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip in full view of the world.”

UNICEF: Gaza has reached the darkest chapters in the history of humanity

Wednesday 27-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said on Tuesday that the ceasefire resolution in the Gaza Strip issued by the UN Security Council should be objective and not symbolic, in order to end the darkest chapters of humanity.

James Elder, the spokesperson for UNICEF, said in a video statement from Rafa'h in southern Gaza that the situation in Gaza has reached a level that can be described as the darkest chapters in the history of humanity.

He added that by using the Bait 'Hanoun (Erez) Crossing, which is located 10 minutes away from where people are begging for food, the humanitarian crisis can improve within days. But it remains closed.

He explained that between March 1 and March 22, 40% of humanitarian aid missions were rejected in northern Gaza.

Elder pointed out that “vital assistance is hindered in Gaza, lives are lost, and dignity is violated.”

The UN Security Council adopted a resolution for a ceasefire in Gaza during the holy month of Ramadan in a session held on Monday.

The resolution was presented by the elected members of the Security Council: Algeria, Ecuador, Guyana, Japan, Malta, Korea, Sierra Leone, Mozambique, Slovenia, and Switzerland.

The resolution received 14 affirmative votes out of 15, with the United States abstaining from voting.

The UN Security Council once again sought to adopt a text calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, a demand that the United States has obstructed several times, but it recently showed indications of a change in its stance towards its ally (Israel).

The resolution calls for the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages and ensures the access of humanitarian aid workers.

Since October 7th last year, the Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip with American and European support, as their aircraft bombard the vicinity of hospitals, buildings, towers, and Palestinian civilian homes, destroying them over the heads of their inhabitants, and preventing the entry of water, food, medicine, and fuel.

By March 26, 2024, the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on Gaza has resulted in the death of 32,414 citizens and the injury of 74,787 others, in addition to the displacement of about 85% of the population of the Gaza Strip, according to the authorities of the Strip, international bodies, and organizations.

UN envoy backs demand for immediate Gaza ceasefire amid ‘cataclysmic suffering’

NEW YOK, Tuesday, March 26, 2024 (WAFA) -

The UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Tor Wennesland today issued a fervent plea for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire, amid “cataclysmic” suffering in the Gaza Strip and continuing violence in the occupied West Bank.

The call by Special Coordinator Tor Wennesland followed Monday’s adoption by the Security Council of a resolution “demanding” an immediate ceasefire in the enclave for the remainder of Ramadan.

He said he was “appalled” by the immense scale of killings, destruction and suffering wrought by Israel’s military campaign in Gaza, with civilian killings at an unprecedented rate.

“Nothing can justify the collective punishment of the Palestinian people,” he emphasized.

“The life-threatening conditions facing the more than 1.7 million internally displaced persons within an ever-diminishing space in Gaza must be addressed immediately. I am extremely concerned by the possible nightmare of more than one million people being displaced again if Israel proceeds with its planned ground operation in Rafah.”

With an “imminent” famine in the north and “horrifying” levels of suffering across Gaza, Wennesland called on Israel to fulfill its obligations under international law and facilitate rapid and unimpeded humanitarian access into and throughout the Strip.

He noted that humanitarian work in Gaza is extremely dangerous and that aid convoys continue to face attacks, stressing that the UN and aid partners must be able to deliver assistance safely.

This means that humanitarian locations, movements, and workers must be protected more effectively and that the UN be allowed the equipment it needs to increase staff safety, he added.

He reiterated that “for aid delivery at scale there is no meaningful substitute to delivery by land”.

Turning his attention to the occupied West Bank, Wennesland expressed alarm by attacks carried out by Israeli colonists against Palestinians, including in the proximity of Israeli Forces.

Wennesland also emphasized the importance of upholding the status quo at Holy Sites in Jerusalem, particularly during Ramadan.

He also raised alarm over the relentless expansion of Israeli colonial settlements in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the demolition and seizure of Palestinian structures.

“The ever-expanding settlement footprint, including outposts, further entrenches the occupation, while severely impeding the exercise by the Palestinian people of its right to self-determination,” he said, reiterating that Israeli colonial settlements “have no legal validity, and are in flagrant violation of international law.”

“Ultimately, any substantial solution for Gaza, and the broader Israeli-Palestinian conflict, is political,” he said.

“It is imperative to set the conditions for an agreed political framework that can outline tangible, irreversible steps towards ending the occupation and establishing a Two-State solution – Israel and Palestine, of which Gaza is an integral part, living side-by-side in peace and security, on the basis of UN resolutions, previous agreements, and international law, with Jerusalem as the capital of both States,” he said.

Euro-Med: 13 children were executed in and near Al-Shifa Hospital

Wednesday 27-March-2024, GENEVA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army has executed thirteen children by direct shooting in the Shifa Medical Complex and its environs in Gaza City, the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor revealed in a statement issued Tuesday.

This is a war crime and a crime against humanity that is part of the genocide that the Palestinian people have been living through in the Gaza Strip for the past six months, the statement reads.

According to the Euro-Med, the Israeli army has been conducting for over a week systematic and horrifying military operations inside and around Al-Shifa Hospital.

“These crimes include extrajudicial executions and deliberate killings of Palestinian civilians.”

The Euro-Med field team received identical testimonies about the killings and executions of Palestinian children between the ages of 4 and 16.

Some of the casualties occurred during an Israeli army siege while their families were inside their homes, and others occurred when the victims attempted to escape down routes that the Israeli army had predetermined after being forcibly evacuated from their homes and places of residence.

Living close to Al-Shifa Hospital, Palestinian Islam 'Ali Salou'ha told Euro-Med that Israeli forces killed his son 'Ali, 9, and Sa'eed Mu'hammed Shaikha, 6, in front of their families and fellow locals. They had targeted them specifically with live bullets.

Euro-Med draws attention to the need to protect Palestinian children, who are more vulnerable to the ongoing Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip and who are no longer afforded any protection under international law.

RAMLLAH, Wednesday, March 27, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces Monday detained 20 Palestinians in an ongoing massive Israeli detention campaign across the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

PPS said that the detention campaigns took place in the governorates of Ramallah, Hebron, Nablus, Salfit, Tulkarm, and Jenin.

Earlier today, three Palestinians were killed, and seven others were injured, following an Israeli drone bombing that targeted a group of civilians in Jenin camp.

Meanwhile, the detention campaigns were accompanied by widespread abuse, severe beatings, and threats against the detainees and their families, added PPS.

The total number of Palestinians, including children, women and elderly men, rounded up after October 7 surged to about 7,820 persons.

Furthermore, the Israeli occupation army continues to carry out the crime of enforced disappearance against detainees in the Gaza Strip, as the occupation refuses to provide human rights institutions with any details regarding their fate or their places of detention.
